Provides comprehensive psychology services to recipients, donors, and patient families of the Transplant team with duties to include pre-transplant evaluations, outpatient and inpatient clinical consultation, patient and family counseling (e.g., understanding of illness and transplantation procedures, emotional adaptation to chronic illness, adjustment to procedures, adherence to medical regimen), and collaboration during team meetings, multi-disciplinary conferences, regarding listing decisions and patient management strategies.


Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. Transplant experience highly preferred but not required. Currently licensed as a Psychologist and eligible to practice in the state of North Carolina or within three months of start date.

MECKLENBURG COUNTY'S department of Criminal Justice Services is recruiting a Post-Doctoral Fellow for the 2019-2020 year.

This is a full-time, salaried position within the Forensic Evaluations Unit.  Median salary for this position is $48,000.00, plus full benefits including funding for relocation expenses, licensing exam fees and continuing ed.

Starting date is flexible, with the potential to begin the fellowship within the next 30 days. Applicants must have completed their doctoral degree program by start date and be eligible to peruse North Carolina licensure as a doctoral-level psychologist.
