The MORNING session is the Ethics of Telemental Health with Rebecca (Becky) A. Beaton-York, PhD. 

The AFTERNOON session will be three parts of 1-hour each. You must attend all 3 parts. Partial credit is not given. 

Part 1 is the Pandemic and the Developing Person: Pathways of Impact of COVID-19 Measures on Mental Health in Children and Adolescents with Elizabeth Conway Williams, PhD, Licensed Psychologist, Hendersonville Pediatrics.

Part 2 is COVID and the Long Haul: What do we know, how do we diagnose and treat it and, where do we go from here? with Shawn K. Acheson, PhD, Clinical and Forensic Neuropsychologist, Clinical Neuroscience Services of WNC.

NC Psychology Board Vacancies -
Are You Interested?

There will be vacancies for one Licensed Psychologist and one Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) on the North Carolina Psychology Board beginning July 1, 2021. NCPA recommends psychologists to the Governor for these positions and will take demographic factors into consideration when making the nominations. To be eligible for nomination, a Licensed Psychologist and/or a Licensed Psychological Associate must:

1. Be a resident of North Carolina and the United States
2. Be actively engaged in one or more branches of psychology, in education and training of psychologists, or in psychological research for at least five years, the two most current of which must have been in North Carolina.

If you are interested in these positions, please send a letter of interest, your vita, and three (3) professional letters of reference to Mary Bastone at the NCPA office by February 28, 2021.
